Adams Waste and Recycling releases holiday closures

Adams Waste and Recycling at 95 Trefz Road in West Union, will be closed for Christmas on Friday, Dec. 25. For New Years, they will be closed on Friday, Jan. 1, 2016. Regular hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., closed Wednesday and Sunday.

Niederman Family Farm still carrying on Rudd’s Christmas tradition

Ten years ago Rudd’s Christmas display ended, but it has not been forgotten by the folks of Adams County or those who made it a tradition to walk the beautiful hills decked in holiday style and see the life of Jesus Christ on one hill and the non-secular display on the other. As you entered the farm you came upon a prayer well, you could donate money towards the utilities and display upkeep or drop in a prayer request, but the Bible Christmas display walking tour was free to all.
