Acrmc Ceo announces retirement

The past few months have been very busy for Adams County Regional Medical Center, but now that things have become a bit more steady, one last change will take place. Saundra Stevens, Chief Executive Officer of ACRMC gave notice to the Board of Trustees that she intends to retire on May 1, 2015.


Leadership Adams plans day at Statehouse

The day will feature coordinated meetings with state officials interested in the advancements Adams County is making in various endeavors including travel and tourism, agriculture, education, and health and wellness. “This event will allow the participants to put Adams County’s best foot forward,” said Mike Pell, president of the Leadership Adams Board of Trustees.

Newcomb fire starter enters guilty plea in Adams County theft, burglary case

The man that pleaded guilty to burning down the Newcomb Hotel in 2013 pleaded guilty to another crime in court Tuesday. Mathew Clark pleaded guilty in Adams County Court to one count of burglary and one count of theft over $10,000 and under $100,000 Tuesday afternoon.


Manchester investigating fatal stabbing

The Manchester Police Department is currently investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred at 415B W. Fifth Street in Manchester on Monday, Feb. 2. Manchester Police, Adams County Sheriff’s Deputies, and the Manchester Life Squad were dispatched around 5:56 a.m. to find Ricky Francis, 32, of Manchester, lying on a couch with 11 to 15 stab wounds, according to Mason County Coroner. Francis was transported by Manchester Life Squad to Meadowview Hospital in Maysville, where he died from his injuries.
